A little fiddling around with an idea in Cinema 4D to see if I can pull off a decent looking dragonfly using simple box modeling with sub-d/Hypernurbs. It’s been a long time doing any organic modeling at all, and this one should be an interesting challenge. The other part of this little challenge will be to not break out ZBrush or Silo and see if I can get it completely done in Cinema 4D. Using photo reference and projection planes to get the shapes. Still a lot of tweaking to do.
